The Sims 3 Mini Challenge - How many children can you handle?

I made two young adults, and had them try for a baby. The mother got pregnant the first try, and later had a little boy. After coming home from the hospital she got right to it and gave birth to two little boys.

She tried for another baby as soon as she was home, now she's pregnant again.

Doing this, how many children do you think you could handle? The infant stage is 2 days, the toddler stage is 7, so keep in mind if you have twins (like me..) you will have a few toddlers and infants at the same time.

How many could you get to grow up well? (All skills learned etc..)

I'm going to keep playing this way to see how many I can handle. And yes, I did use money cheats. (Motherlode, kaching)

"Cute" Tip! - You can place stuffed animals inside your baby's crib. Aww :)

~ Update

Ahhh! She had twin girls! I'm going out of my mind lol. Three toddler boys, two infant girls!

June/5 -- 4 toddlers, 1 infant, 1 child. Done!.. but crazy. X_X

  1. Haha I love your blog. I've favorited it!

I was having difficulties with one toddler and one baby!! I needed to go play a different family for a while to de-stress myself lol

  2. No kidding! It's very stressful, lol.

I'm thinking about making it a full challenge - since it IS hard. I didn't think it would be this hard but oh lord enough to drive you crazy!

Thank you for the favorite :) It's nice to know people enjoy my blog.

  3. Haha, I feel your pain! I had twin girls at first (yay for watermelon!) and as soon as she got home with them, both parents wanted a baby boy. So they got right to it and I decided to see if I could pull off triplets so... I got the mom the fertility reward and started munching apples.

So, at this moment, I have 2 girls (children now) and 3 boys who are still toddlers. o.o I've been goin' outta my mind! I slacked a bit on one girl and now she's evil, but the rest seem to be doing fine. :D

(And is it just me, or are most toddlers hard to tell apart? They all just... blend in together. Silly bald babies.)

  4. They DO blend together! I can usually tell by their outfit colors though.

They've got much cuter outfits in TS3... Hehe.

And oh my! Evil? LOL! I bet that's fun! What does she do? A little evil child laugh LOL

  5. Hehe, she doesn't do too much different. Her idle animation is like a little mad scientist plotting, but the fun thing with her is everything is evil. Instead of 'Sleep' she takes an 'Evil Slumber'. She takes a 'Wicked Bubble Bath', 'Eats Quick Meal Fiendishly' & looks for evil through her telescope. :D She's a lot of fun!

And I love the outfits in this one. I had to do download another hair style for one of my boys. Either his brother had the same making them look the same, or he just looked goofy. :P

  6. I don't think I could handle more than 3 kids at a time. That's 5 people to manage. Eeek!

  10. I had a teen girl, girl child, twin toddler boys and twin infant boys. The easiest way I found to manage it was to use maternity leave to my advantage... it accumulates, so we were getting a good income. Basically, I used that every day on a babysitter. My teen had the 'good' trait, and I found that she helped out sometimes. It's much easier now that the youngest are children.

  11. No kidding, Kylie? Oh lord lol mine didn't have jobs so that must of been a nightmare.

The babysitter probably caused a little bit of stress too though.. have yours been slacking off? Mine seem to ... they always sit there, watch tv or go play in the sprinkler!

    Ahh! Annoying.

  12. I have had a couple of slack babysitters. I just dismiss them or tell them to 'stop doing that' when they are being slack. I'm happy to say that the family is now much more manageable :-) I'm thinking about moving someone out and starting her a place of her own.

  13. Haha, lucky.. most of the babysitters I've hired have all been awful.

It's a lot more realistic, I guess, that they have teens now to call, instead of nanny's.

I get mad and fire them, :P

  16. No kidding! I got a mod the other day, and the teen mom and dad had 6 babies at once! Luckily, the mod came with the phone option "Put up for adoption..." The three dots means you have more than one child. It was crazy. I ended up having the 6 children go to their grandparent's house to live there. The grandparents are both retired, and the 6 little girls (babies) are staying with them so that their parents can get on with their schoolwork and stuff. They did get married, though. A few years later, the girls became young adults. Then what happened was the first girl (Anabelle) married Jake and they had twin girls, then the second kid (Allie) married Benjamin and they have just got triplet girls. The third, (Aimee) married Andrew, and they are pregnant on twin girls, the fourth child, (A J) married Jason and had a baby boy and a baby girl (twins), the fifth child, (Adelle)married Jack and had triplets, one girl, two boys. The sixth child, (Abbie) married Aiden and had triplets (girls) their names are (Alison, Aimee, and Annie) they are currently newborns, and a few days ago, Aimee (young adult) gave birth to her twin girls. All of the family's kids except Abbie and Aiden's are toddlers. Abbie and Aiden's kids are newborns, and will be toddlers soon, and Abbie and Aiden are hoping for baby number 4!
